Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, announces that the company’s Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 personal product has won the comparative test held by the respected German magazine Com!
In its December issue, Com! published the results of a series of tests in which 10 antivirus solutions from different vendors participated. Kaspersky Lab’s personal product was the top performer. “Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 provides the best all-round protection,” was how the company’s new product was described by the magazine. The article also noted the minimal use of system resources by the company’s new solution.
The magazine’s experts also emphasized the user-friendly interface of Kaspersky Internet Security 2009. “The solution to any potential problem is just a mouse-click away. Despite being simple to manage, the package also provides plenty of settings options for more advanced users in additional submenus,” says the article. Significantly, components of Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 such as the virus scanner, spam filter and firewall performed exceptionally well during the test.
The new Kaspersky Lab personal products released in the middle of 2008 are based on a new antivirus engine which dramatically increases system scanning speed.
