Kaspersky Lab's latest report covers malware for Unix, Linux and Unix-type systems

Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions that protect against viruses, Trojans, worms, spyware, hacker attacks and spam, presents its latest analytical report: 2005: *nix Malware Evolution. The report, by Konstantin Sapronov, a Kaspersky Lab virus analyst, covers the evolution of malware for non-Windows platforms.

This report provides information on the evolution of malware for alternative operating systems, and provides data on the number of malicious programs for a range of operating systems. It also investigates the ways in which malware for alternative platforms may evolve in the future.
