Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, announces that Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 was voted “Product of the Year” by Romanian magazine XtremPC.
Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 was voted the best security software product of the year for 2008 by the readers of the leading Romanian IT magazine, XtremPC. Kaspersky Lab’s security solution garnered more votes than competitors such as Norton Internet Security 2009, Panda Global Protection 2009, Avira Antivirus Premium 8 and the solution of well-known Romanian vendor BitDefender.
“We are very proud to see that XtremPC readers voted for Kaspersky Internet Security 2009,” Teodor Cimpoesu, Managing Director of Kaspersky Lab Romania, commented. “This award demonstrates just how much our customers appreciate our commitment to creating the most effective and user-friendly protection solutions,” Cimpoesu added.
The XtremPC award comes shortly after another popular Romanian IT magazine, CHIP, also voted Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 their “Product of the Year”.
