Kaspersky Lab has announced that its updated corporate products, Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations and Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers, have been certified compatible with Intel processor technologies
Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of Internet threat management solutions that protect against all forms of malicious software including viruses, spyware, hackers and spam, has announced that its updated corporate products, Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations and Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers, have been certified compatible with Intel processor technologies.
Kaspersky Lab's antivirus solutions for business have successfully passed compatibility testing with the Intel® Core™2 Duo, Intel® Core™ i7 and Intel® Core™2 Quad processors. In addition, Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations was certified compatible with the Intel® Centrino® Duo processor, and Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers was certified Intel® XEON® compatible.
The Intel logo certificates verify that Kaspersky Lab's products conform perfectly to these processors' parallel computing capabilities using multi-core architectures and Intel® Hyper-Threading technology.
Throughout the update development process, Kaspersky Lab's specialists used the application development tools for multi-core platforms provided by Intel. Such an approach ensures maximum performance from the software, providing fast processing coupled with minimal use of resources.
