Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, invites all interested parties to take part in the beta testing of Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 2006. This new generation of protection is designed for personal computers using new information security technologies.
This new antivirus tool for PCs offers a range of benefits, including a new user interface which is based on user feedback. Antivirus scanning is now faster, and the antivirus protection has been enhanced with integrated technologies which ensure proactive protection even against the very latest malicious programs, while eliminating the need to update antivirus databases.
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2006 utilizes the very latest antivirus technologies in conjunction with tried and tested methods, monitoring all possible infection vectors such as file operations, data storage locations, email and Internet connections. These are complemented by cutting edge technologies which detect malicious programs that have not yet been included in antivirus databases. This proactive protection identifies malicious programs according to behavior and has an extremely low rate of false positives.
