The introduction of support for cluster-based and distributed configurations has made administering an antivirus systems installed on several servers much easier. Updating antivirus databases on each of the servers in an array protected by Kaspersky® Anti-Virus is fully automated. Additionally, it is now easier to install the application on a server, given that the installation mechanism has been brought in line with the standard Windows procedures, familiar to every IT specialist.
Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 5.5 for Lotus Notes/Domino provides antivirus protection for mail systems using Lotus Notes/Domino. The program is installed on a server running the Windows 2000/2003 operating system and scans all mail sent and received via the server, as well as all database files, for viruses and other malicious code. Importantly, Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Lotus Notes/Domino can treat both message bodies and attached files.
