Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, announces that its CEO and Co-Founder, Eugene Kaspersky, is to be honoured with induction into the Infosecurity Europe Hall of Fame, at Infosecurity Europe 2010. The exhibition takes place between 27th and 29th April at Earls Court in London and on stand F40/G20 the company will showcase its full range of award-winning business security software solutions, alongside the data loss prevention technologies of InfoWatch.

Kaspersky Lab will be taking an active role in the education programme at Infosecurity Europe and on Wednesday 28th April between 10:40 and 11:05 Eugene Kaspersky will address attendees in the Business Strategy Theatre. Later in the afternoon, 14:45 – 16:00 in the Keynote Theatre, he will be inducted into the Infosecurity Europe Hall of Fame, taking his place alongside an illustrious group who have all been recognised as internationally respected information security practitioners and advocates who have made a clear and long-term contribution to the advancement of the industry.

This education programme will continue on the Kaspersky Lab stand, F40/G20, where throughout each day visitors can sit with a complimentary cup of coffee and listen to security experts present on a range of topics including new scenarios of data leakage prevention usage in corporate environment (introduced by InfoWatch), the threats from social networking and tips for staying safe online.

Visitors to the stand will also be able to view Kaspersky Lab's portfolio of business security software solutions that deliver superior levels of protection for private and public sector IT infrastructures including Kaspersky Open Space Security – Release 2, Kaspersky Hosted Security Services and Kaspersky Mobile Enterprise Edition (for the protection and management of smartphones). These products and services deliver ease of deployment and centralised management, alongside a minimal resource footprint that ensures precious computing power is dedicated to the usage of applications and data, as well as a lower total cost of ownership.

This year Kaspersky Lab is joined on the stand by InfoWatch, which will be demonstrating its intellectual data protection solutions that include InfoWatch Traffic Monitor, InfoWatch Device Monitor and InfoWatch CryptoStorage Enterprise, as well as providing details from its latest whitepaper - Global Research on Data Leaks in 2009. Together, both organisations will provide visitors with the most comprehensive range of products, services and expertise to protect organisations from cyberthreats.

Managing Director of Kaspersky Lab Europe, Andreas Lamm comments: "Whether a large enterprise or SMB, you will undoubtedly be under continual pressure to provide a flexible IT infrastructure, that is capable of delivering 24/7 access to data and applications, from an increasingly wide variety of devices and locations." He continues: "The challenge is to meet the evolving requirements of the business whilst maintaining a highly secure, cost efficient and reliable IT infrastructure, that is well protected from the ever-increasing risks and threats."

Furthermore, visitors to the stand will be offered a free 30-day trial of the recently launched Kaspersky PURE home user product that delivers the ultimate protection for a digital life.

Coinciding with Infosecurity Europe 2010 is the annual SC Magazine Europe Awards 2010 where last year Kaspersky Lab won the prestigious Security Product of the Year. This year the CEO and Co-Founder is proud to be a finalist in the CEO of the year category and the Kaspersky Lab technology is shortlisted for Best Anti-malware Solution.
