Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, announces the decision by the popular French magazine PC Achat to name Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 the “Best Product of 2008” in the category for integrated PC protection software.
“Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 is a reliable shield against viruses, spyware, intrusions, spam and phishing,” was how the editorial team at PC Achat described the Kaspersky Lab product. “The solution includes an effective firewall for incoming and outgoing traffic (IDS/IPS), a spam filter based on ‘black’ and ‘white’ lists and equipped with a self-learning algorithm. There are regular product updates that occur automatically and provide optimal protection against the very latest threats.”
The experts at PC Achat also pointed out Kaspersky Lab’s concern for children. “The developers have included a parental control module in Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 which prevents access to questionable sites and controls the time a child spends online.” When summing up, the magazine noted that “this reliable product provides peace of mind and a healthy computer”.
