The news of the tragic plane crash that caused the death of President Kaczynski and his wife as well as the people who were with them was a terrible shock for all of us. I mourn with, and share the heartache of, the whole Polish nation and would like to offer my deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who perished in this tragedy. Despite those untimely deaths, the cherished memory of Lech Kaczynski and the country’s senior officials will remain close in the hearts of the Polish nation.
