The Challenges We Face in Today’s Cyber World
The Internet today is a breeding ground for criminal activity. Home users, small and medium businesses, international corporations and government bodies all suffer from constant attacks from viruses, worms, Trojans and other malicious code. The reasons why have been widely discussed, and will continue to be discussed. It’s clear that the nature of the threat has considerably changed in the past few years and will continue to do so because malware is no longer created as isolated acts of cyber vandalism but for the purposes of criminal ’business’. How are current anti-malware technologies dealing with this threat and, more importantly, how will they cope as the situation evolves? What will the threats of tomorrow bring and how will the security industry cope with them? In his presentation, Eugene Kaspersky will answer these questions and will discuss how you can stay one step ahead in today’s cyber world.
