Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, announces the launch of Lab Matters – a regular series of English-language webcasts that get right to the heart of some of the IT security industry’s hottest topics.
Webcasts are Internet broadcasts that the user can access any time they wish. The webcasts can be viewed by anyone who has an Internet connection.
Lab Matters is a knowledge-based project designed to inform viewers about the IT security industry’s latest trends, threats and the advancement of technologies for combating cybercrime. The discussions will be hosted by some of Kaspersky Lab’s leading experts and will cover issues such as how to protect your computer or corporate network against malware, spam, phishing and hacker attacks.
The Kaspersky Lab experts will be sharing their knowledge and experience with those interested in IT security. Whether you are an expert in the field, a system administrator or an ordinary home user, Kaspersky Lab’s regular webcasts will enable you to protect yourself more effectively against IT threats and to understand how antivirus products and technologies operate. In the first program of the series, Lab Matters will examine the subject of targeted attacks. You will learn what a targeted attack is, what the cybercriminals hope to achieve from it, how to detect threats of this kind and how to protect yourself against them.
